Our classes range from Beginner through to Advanced pole dancing; plus we have a variety of fitness and dance classes on offer such as Anti Gravity Yoga & Fitness.

Beginners Pole Dancing

This Poletique Fitness Studio introductory course will help women to learn the fundamentals of Pole Dancing. It is designed for those of all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels, and is intended to inspire creative expression and fun times! This course will help with weight loss and general fitness goals and, of course, the early development of some really impressive pole moves! During this course students will learn simple spins and strengthening moves to build confidence and fitness abilities. All students will learn a fun and funky routine throughout the course and will experience being upside down on a pole!

Intermediate Pole Dancing 1

This course is designed for people who have completed a beginners or introductory pole dancing course previously. Don't be surprised if you spend considerable time upside down on the pole and learn to climb and hang from the pole at what might be a challenging height. The difficulty level will increase with new spin combinations and strengthening moves to help women find their fitter, sexier selves.

Intermediate Pole Dancing 2

This is the pole dancing course that gets students absolutely hooked on pole dance fitness (if you aren’t already) and on the art of pole dancing. During this course new combinations and the mastering of difficult moves will be the main focus. At this level we begin to encourage our students to sign up for a secondary fitness class to develop their fitness abilities in such areas as strength training or personal training, etc. To enter this level we ask that students make sure they are comfortable performing basic inverts and climbs.

Intermediate Pole Dancing 3

To enter at this level of pole dancing class, we ask that students have successfully completed our Intermediate 2 course and be comfortable performing a V and outside and inside leg hangs. Students will be hanging high up on the poles, twirling about with their new-found confidence. Flexibility, fitness, and dance skills will be developed further throughout this course, much of which is incorporated into pole dance combinations.

Pre-Advanced 1 Pole Dancing

By now you will be obsessed with pole dancing and greatly motivated by your all-around fitness levels. We will now be seeing you more than once a week as a regular pole dancer! In conjunction with this course we strongly recommend students join a fitness course or another pole dancing course to continue developing strength, flexibility, and technique. To reach this level we ask students to be comfortable performing an aerial V and a bent leg butterfly. Throughout this course students will learn a sexy routine and focus on new and challenging combinations.

Pre-Advanced 2 Pole Dancing

Now you have become a regular at Poletique Fitness Studio for some time and have fallen in love with the art of pole dancing. The moves during this course will continue to increase in difficulty and take some time to master. Advanced strength exercises will be introduced and students will be given time to develop their freestyle pole dance skills and we will now be putting the emphasis on dance routines throughout this course. Students are encouraged to bring heels for their routines and freestyle experimentation.

Advanced 1 Pole Dancing

Congratulations, you are now an advanced pole dancing student! The main focus throughout the Advanced 1 course is to increase the student's strength, flexibility, and skills to a newly attained level of advancement and to learn how to use and build up new and different muscle groups. This is all in preparation to develop the more extreme pole dance moves such as the legendary Iron-X and the gravity-defying Handspring.

Advanced 2 Pole Dancing (Invitation Only)

This pole dance specialist course is by invitation only. To gain entrance into this course, students who believe they are ready for this leap are encouraged to consult with their instructors for guidance. In this exclusive class we will focus on creating and perfecting actual pole dance routines. Upon the perfection of a pole dance routine, students are next encouraged to experience performing for an audience to boost confidence levels and to share their hard-earned pole dancing expertise with classmates and the public alike!

Advanced 3 Pole Dancing (Invitation Only)

This class is also invite-only and available to students who have successfully completed and been deemed competent (and confident) in ALL levels of our pole dancing and fitness curriculum. Students will now master the extreme moves and combinations seen on competition stages by highly accomplished professional pole dance experts! Here you will develop your own signature moves and combinations. You have achieved a level of pole dancing expertise that few will ever achieve- you got it and now you will flaunt it!

Burlesque & Floor

Burlesque dance at Poletique Fitness Studio is our newest fun and sexy way to exercise. In this class students will learn the fundamentals of sensual dance, twerking and booty shaking, walking and dancing in heels and even learn a funky routine using chairs and/ or poles. This class is great for people wanting to find their inner sexiness and confidence or even if they just want to try something new. Make sure you bring along some heels to add that extra hint of sexiness to your dancing.

Sculpt and Tone

This fitness class has been developed for women of all ages, sizes, and fitness levels. It is a high intensity workout style that is designed to help students tone and sculpt their bodies and assist in a weight loss regimen. Using a large variety of equipment, our time-based exercises ensure students at all stages of fitness abilities achieve their fitness goals. Throughout this class students will become familiar with weighted equipment, cardio-based exercises and resistance training techniques. This course is also available for new mums wanting to bring their little ones to class. Punch Fit

Our Punch Fit class is one of the most effective classes we offer to help women to lose weight, tone muscles, and build strength. Classes involve boxing combinations, cardio drills, and specific boxing drills. This class is ideal for beginner and advanced students alike and for all levels of fitness. Workouts focus on upper and lower body muscle groups and are great for anyone wanting to increase their cardio vascular fitness and lose those unwanted kilos. Pole Pump

This course is comprised of high intensity, pole fitness workout sessions designed to assist pole students in the objective of increasing their strength and flexibility levels. It is an entire body workout and you will be climbing that pole like a pro pole dancer in no time. The exercises performed during this class are similar to certain pole tricks of the trade and will help students gain that extra strength faster. Booty Work

As women ourselves we know what part of the body women dislike most and its almost always the booty, followed by tummies and thighs. We have developed a low-impact fitness course specifically designed to combat these problem areas. This is certainly not your average "squat" class either! At Poletique Fitness Studio we engage the attributes of fun and along with the principles of effective exercise to show you how to shed those centimetres and encourage weight loss and muscle toning. Anti Gravity Yoga Fundamentals

Anti Gravity Yoga is a new age fitness regime available to everyone from all walks of life. It has been designed to increase overall health, flexibility, and well being whilst also having some fun! Aerial Yoga 1 & 2 Intermediate Classes

Aerial yoga 1 & 2 courses offered at Poletique Fitness Studio are the intermediate and advanced sequels to our Anti Gravity Fundamentals programs. These courses feature advanced yoga and stretching poses designed to test your flexibility skills in a safe and challenging environment. Throughout Aerial Yoga, students will also continue to develop upper body and core strength through exercises using the Harrison Anti Gravity hammocks. Students will develop and explore new wraps and traps to help master more inspiring yoga sequences where they can move freely in all directions of open space. After conquering how to free your mind and relax during the fundamentals series students will delve into this experience further to help relax the mind and body during class time.

Suspension Fitness Classes

Suspension Fitness at Poletique Fitness Studio is a fun and exciting anti gravity course designed to test student’s strength and fitness levels using the Harrison Anti Gravity hammocks. The class will get your heart rate up and has cardio based sequences. Students will learn to flip and turn in the hammocks and see improvements in their strength and physique. Using cardio based methods to burn calories and fat students may experience weight loss and muscle toning.

Stretch and Flex

Our stretch course is always our most popular flexibility class among our pole dancing and pole fitness students. The stretch and flex course has been designed and developed to assist students in any flexibility issues they may have. Students at any level are encouraged to join this course as there is always room for improvement even at the top! Our Poletique instructors will teach you the fundamentals for entire body flexibility and then personalise the program to target particular areas of a student’s concern. That means YES, you will be able to do the splits and back bends in no time!
